Privacy at Russia Economy

Russia Economy is a static information website. This page explains the information involved in using it and the limits of what the site collects. It describes the launch configuration, not a promise that visiting any website produces no technical records.

Hosting and access logs

The website runs on standard shared hosting managed through cPanel. The host keeps normal server access logs for security and operation. Those logs can include an IP address, browser information, requested pages and the time of a request. Requests for site files may also appear in these technical records.

We do not publish a fixed retention period for hosting logs because no verified period has been established for this page. Questions about a particular request can be sent to the contact address below. We will not describe a specific deletion outcome as guaranteed when it depends on hosting arrangements or records outside the website itself.

Features that do not collect submissions

There are no user accounts, comments, contact forms, newsletters or payments. The website does not ask you to create a profile or submit financial information. Site search runs in your browser, rather than sending search terms to a separate search service.

The calculators also run in your browser. Amounts and dates typed into them are not stored or sent by the calculators. Do not interpret a calculation as a financial transaction: the site does not move money or open accounts.

Official data without a direct browser connection

The ruble converter and indicator features use official Bank of Russia data fetched by the site's own server. Your browser does not contact the Bank of Russia to obtain those values. The server provides the data used by the page; calculator entries are not included in that retrieval.

Fonts and scripts are served from Russia Economy itself, not loaded from third-party font or script providers. External source links lead away from the site only when you choose to open them. Other sites operate under their own privacy practices.

Cookies and local preferences

There are no analytics or advertising scripts at launch, and the site sets no tracking cookies. Small display preferences may be kept in local storage in your browser. Those preferences are not sent to the site. You can remove them using your browser's site-data controls; doing so may reset the appearance of the pages.

Email and privacy questions

Messages sent to [email protected] contain the address and information you choose to provide. Email correspondence is used to handle the inquiry, such as a correction or advertising request. Avoid sending passwords, identity documents, payment details or sensitive personal information that is not needed.
